Alcohol ink art is a fluid art technique using fast-drying, dye-based alcohol inks on non-porous surfaces like Yupo paper, porcelain, or canvas. Artists drop inks onto a surface and use tools like hair dryers to spread them, creating unique, fluid designs through blending and layering. While waterproof inks are used, they are not very lightfast, so a UV varnish is often applied to protect the finished piece from fading.
