Alcohol ink art is a fluid art technique using fast-drying, dye-based alcohol inks on non-porous surfaces like Yupo paper, porcelain, or canvas. Artists drop inks onto a surface and use tools like hair dryers and air guns to spread them, creating unique, fluid designs through blending and layering. While waterproof inks are used, they are not very lightfast, so a UV varnish is often applied to protect the finished piece from fading.
